Coveralls And Work Clothes For Women
Hi, I am a business owner of a logging company in rural Montana. I have had trouble finding women’s work clothes for my female employees. What I have found is that in order to purchase work clothes for women, such as coveralls for women, pants, vests and the proper reflective gear, I have had to go online or out of state to purchase these items.
I have learned throughout hiring women that all clothes are not created equal. Men’s work clothes do not fit women properly, therefore; women become uncomfortable while on the job, creating not only a dangerous situation, but it makes them not fulfilled or happy with their work. Some of my best employees are women and I strive to maintain a comfortable work environment for them.
Coveralls for women seem to be the best type of work clothes for women. They seem to be more comfortable and allow room for them to move. My female employees have expressed to me that they are more comfortable than the typical pants that they wore before. In addition, my crew is also required to wear reflective vests as well, these are also either uncomfortable or too big for my women employees. Once again, when I found the reflective vests in women’s sizes, they were more comfortable and stated they really did not even know they were wearing them.

With women I have found that they do not always want to be confined to overalls. I have also found that there are work pants available for women as well. This work great because they provide the necessary comfort to my employees as well as being constructed by the durable material we need. When shopping for women’s style work clothes, I have adapted the practice of allowing them to shop online or go to the stores to pick out the work clothes that seem to fit them the best and they have really adapted to this. They are able to find all sorts of work clothes that not only fit them personally, but also provide the safety features and durability needed in our business.
